Shortages and damages must be reported immediately, in writing at the time of delivery. We ship proper quantities in good condition. The carrier is responsible for the delivery. The customer or a customer representative must be present to help unload the truck. Pallets can be 'broken down' for hand unloading for those who do not have forklift capabilities. LTL Freight Shipping means "Less Than Truckload" Freight Shipping. It is primarily used for the transportation of small freight or when certain freight shipments do not require the use of an entire trailer. This method can be used when freight weighs between 150 and 15,000 lbs. When using LTL Freight Shipping, the shipper pays for a portion of a standard truck trailer that their shipment occupies, while the other shippers and their shipments fill the other unoccupied space.

LTL Freight Shipping has many benefits, the main one being the reduction in cost. Since the shipper is only paying for the portion of the trailer that is used, the rest of the cost is paid by others. LTL Shipping is also a much more secure option when compared to other methods because most LTL shipments are packaged onto pallets before being loaded onto a truck, and a well-packaged pallet is much sturdier than multiple small shipments with smaller handling units. Additionally, when using LTL Freight Shipping, you will often gain access to special services and features such as lift-gates and inside pickup/delivery. LTL Freight Shipping is the ideal option for packages heading to locations with limited access for other carriers, such as construction sites, rural locations, etc.
